Postpartum Weight Loss Diet and Exercise Plan Results

The post pregnancy weight loss program is complete! Check out my before and after photos and tell me what you think–not bad, right? I’ve had some awesome results and I am excited to keep going with this momentum.

I encountered challenges along the way for sure, but I stuck with it. Seriously, that’s the most important part of any weight loss program–being patient and dedicated enough to see it through to the end. You’re not always going to be down on the scale each week. You’re not always going to win the will power challenges. You’re not always going to feel like it’s working–even I felt like quitting numerous times but couldn’t because of this blog!  Just work through those challenges and know that it will work with time.

My total weight loss from the time I gave birth until the last day of this program was exactly 30 lbs. That’s 3 lbs extra past my pre-pregnancy weight. I had lost all the pregnancy weight at 9 weeks postpartum. Pretty fantastic!

Am I happy with the results? Yes! Absolutely. Do I wish I had lost more by now? Of course! In my mind I want to be back in my bikini competition body, even though it’s unreasonable for me to want that when my baby is just 4 months old. I know these things take time, and I know I wasn’t as strict with my diet and sleep as I would need to be to lose faster. And that’s ok, because this is real life, not contest prep! And heck, like I said back when I made the first video, I’m not ready to give up babybuiding for bodybuilding anytime soon! Plus I’m exclusively breastfeeding, so my top priority is my baby’s nutrition, not my figure.

So what now? The three month program is done, now what will I do? KEEP GOING! If a diet is just temporary than so will be the weight loss. I’ve made myself a new menu, found some new workouts, made new goals, and onwards I go.  Watch the video for more information…and to hear the story behind my haircut disaster!

    1. Totally tried it…not my thing…my husband said it was nice but I think anything that makes it shorter is a no for me. I’ve been doing the bangs as a side bang and that makes them look thicker at least. Progress!

    1. Ugh, right? Doesn’t matter if other people like it, I’m the one who has to live with it and I just don’t! Hahahah. I’m trying to change my mindset about it but I think it will be a big eye roll for me every time I see the reflection until it grows. But thanks for saying you like it!!!


  2. I have enjoyed watching your exercise videos and have admired your dedication. I have also been given a haircut I am not entirely happy with twice in a row now. I even resorted to wearing a beanie.
    Personally I love your haircut.

Mine is now starting to get ok in my books, but I was tempted to shave my head just to gain back the control of the hairstyle hahahah! I hope your still is starting to get better? Grow baby grow!   3. It’s not Winter now, so I have been wearing headscarves instead but I liked my beanie. I am hoping I will grow into this haircut before it needsw trimming again!
    I honestly think your hair looks really nice, should be less work!
