Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 3

Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison Part 3…My fourth pregnancy is almost over, I can hardly believe it! One of the most fun things for me is comparing how my bump looks in each pregnancy, and I have to say, I still can’t tell if I’m “high” or “low” or just somewhere in between. However, I definitely think this is my biggest bump–and biggest baby?–yet…

Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 2

Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 2…I’m back with another pregnancy update! It’s really moving along quickly and I’m already in the third trimester (home stretch) as I write this. Baby J, my little 5 year old, is convinced the new baby will be a boy with brown eyes, I wonder if she’s right? I have brown eyes and my husband has blue; we have a daughter with brown, a son with brown, and a daughter with blue…statistically, she could be on to something! She also has decided on a name: Peter Pan. So cute…

Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 1

Fourth Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 1…In case you haven’t seen my Instagram lately, Baby #4 is on the way! And actually, coming pretty darn soon, at that. I am behind on my pregnancy updates as I had a hard drive malfunction, but my pictures have been recovered and there’s a little break between fitness competition recaps, so my fourth pregnancy bump comparison is here…

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison Part 3

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison…I am now well into my third trimester with my third baby, and it’s going really well!  I’ve passed all the tests (no gestational diabetes, no strep B, no blood pressure problems), my belly is growing right on track, and my energy levels are pretty good.  I’m still super tired, but that’s the only complaint I have and it could very well be due to the fact that I don’t really start my day until my other two babies are asleep.  I’m quite the night owl…

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison Part 2

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison…Second trimester with my third baby has proven to be more tiring than the other babies, but at least less tiring than the first trimester!  At 19 weeks I was even able to start exercising again, though running and even walking uphill on the treadmill were out due to some muscle cramping (felt like a side stitch but in the front).  I have been doing Pilates every day and absolutely love it, I think I am a Pilates addict!  I’m excited to be postpartum so that I can do all the floor moves laying on the back or tummy, it will be a fun change…

How to Take in a Maternity Shirt

How to Take in a Maternity Shirt…When I was pregnant with my first baby, I wanted to wear unique vintage maternity clothes but found them to be way too expensive. So, I sewed my own maternity shirts using a real vintage pattern. I had been doing bikini competitions and actually had to gain weight to get pregnant, so because I was already feeling pretty large, I presumed I would be an XXXL pregnant lady. I got the largest pattern I could find and extended the pattern to make it even bigger.  Well, turns out I didn’t get as big as I had presumed and was even smaller for my second baby, so the shirts went unworn…

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison Part 1

Third Pregnancy Bump Comparison…Just when we were getting the swing of life with 2 under 2, we are adding another baby to the mix, #3under4 here we come!  Our spacing turned out pretty fantastic—there are 19 months between Baby J and Baby K, and there will be 22 months (or less!) between Baby K and Baby #3.  We aren’t finding out the sex because we have a girl and a boy, so we have everything we could need either way…

Badlands Maternity Photo Shoot: DIY Tips…Now that I finally have a nice big baby belly, it was time for our DIY maternity photo shoot, in the desert badlands! These pictures were taken in Drumheller, Alberta when I was 35 weeks pregnant by my wonderful husband, and I think they turned out spectacular…

Second Pregnancy Bump Comparison, Part 2

Second Pregnancy Bump Comparison Part 2…It’s pregnancy bump comparison time again! Boy oh boy time is flying by; I can’t believe how close the end of this pregnancy is. I’m a little behind on my posts (as I write this I am actually 34 weeks) so looking back at where I was just 4 weeks ago is mind blowing…
