Inflatable Pool Birthday Party…My little boy turned two this summer, and even though I just had Baby A I still wanted to throw him a big, fun party with lots of baking and décor (sleep be damned!). Frozen Winter Wonderland Party…My baby girl just turned three, and since her birthday falls in winter, and since she loves Disney’s Frozen, we threw her a Frozen Winter Wonderland Third Birthday Party! It was a huge hit, she was so excited to see all the decorations and the Christmas tree when she woke up. And bonus for me, half my holiday decorations were done for the season! Freak Show Circus Theme First Birthday……
My Baby Boy recently turned one and while I was drawn to the adorable circus and carnival themed parties I saw online, they just lacked that pizzazz I wanted for my birthday boy. Especially because I had to live up to the Great Gatsby Themed First Birthday we threw for his big sister! I knew I wanted something masculine yet cute, but also unique and maybe even a bit edgy. I brainstormed our favorite travel locations and my mind was instantly drawn to Coney Island with its delicious hot dogs and ice cream and, of course, the Barnum & Bailey Greatest Show on Earth. And thus was born Baby K’s Freak Show Circus themed first birthday party…

Versatile Blogger Award and Seven Things About Me…I am very honoured to say that I have been nominated for the Versatile Blogger Award! How cool! Potty Training a Two Year Old Girl…We just potty trained our toddler girl in one week. She was showing lots of signs of readiness, like absolutely hating having a wet cloth diaper and telling us whenever she was going pee, so we figured it was time. We barricaded ourselves in the house with lots of paper towel and laundry detergent and got it done. It actually wasn’t too bad, but I’m glad this week is over. She seems to have nailed it!

2018 Resolutions to be a Better Person…Being a better person is the top New Years Resolution for 2018, which is funny because that’s exactly what I planned on making my goal for this year. Last year I made Beauty Resolutions, and every year before that it has been weight loss resolutions, but I for one feel like it’s time to be less superficial and really make some positive changes in my life…
Comic Con: Pregnant, Cosplay and Family Adventures…We recently went to Comic Con as a family and oh man was it ever fun! Carrying a 1.5 year old, being seven months pregnant, and being dressed in our Batman, Joker and Poison Ivy costumes made it extra special (and tiring), but we are already excited to go again next year with the new baby. He will be about 6 months old, so the family costume ideas are endless…
