My sweet Baby A turned 2, and of course she wanted a Frozen Birthday. But, since her birthday falls in the summer, the last thing I wanted to do was another winter themed birthday party (check out the Frozen Winter Wonderland Birthday Party we threw for Baby J a few years ago), so my solution was to do a Frozen Fever Theme instead, and she loved it!
I tried my best to replicate the adorable sunflower birthday cake from the movie, which is available on Netflix at the very end of the “Disney Short Films Collection” Movie. I just used buttercream icing and some angel food cake, it was perfect! Then there were mini white donut snowgies, confetti cookies, sprinkle donuts, turquoise ice cream float punch, and best of all, a chocolate fountain! This chocolate fountain has been the best purchase ever, I have used it at so many parties over the years. This time for dipping I did strawberries, banana and strawberry marshmallows, Nilla Wafers, ripple chips, and of course just straight fingers into the chocolate!
The decorations were super easy! I drew the big Elsa and Anna portraits on packing paper with crayons, because that’s all I had handy hahah, and I borrowed the white Ikea frames from her bedroom. Making the “Happy Birthday” sign was easy, I just copied what I saw in the movie using printer paper and markers. The green backdrop is actually a big cloth photography background, and all the little characters you see on the table are wooden magnetic paper dolls.
Almost all of the gifts she received were from Frozen, be it new pillow cases or puzzles or toys, but I think best of all was her Frozen Fever dress which I found on eBay, she was so excited to be Elsa! Of course because of the pandemic we didn’t have a big party, just us and my parents, but we had lots of FaceTime with our loved ones and it was the perfect amount of food with enough for leftovers!

I’m keeping those handmade Anna and Elsa portraits to hang in Baby A’s bedroom! It was a great summer Frozen Fever theme birthday and Baby A was the cutest little two year old.

I have another birthday party to share with you guys, an adorable 4th Birthday for Baby K, stay tuned for that (in between contest recaps, of course!).
