We just had EVERY women’s category compete at the 2020 Tampa Pro Show and it was amazing! The Tampa Pro brought us newly qualified athletes heading to Olympia, our first ever Wellness Pro Winner, and so many points awarded for our top 5 competitors. It was really fantastic to witness the achievements of these athletes, and to live a little vicariously through them, too!
Click on the picture below to watch the recap. I had so much to say, it was just too exciting!
It’ll be another couple of weeks before the next competition recaps–Monsterzym Pro and World Klash Pro. I hope to show you the adorable 3rd birthday party we had for my baby boy in the mean time, stay tuned!

Are you thinking about competing?

Oh Timothy, a thousand times yes! But I have a few other goals I need to achieve first that I couldn’t do while in a contest prep, so it will be a couple years still for me. But I absolutely want to! Watching these professionals is very inspiring, that’s for sure!

They need a super mom category for moms getting back into the ring so to speak.

They kinda do, it’s called “Masters” for women over 35, and sometimes even “Grand Masters” for another age category. But if you want to be professional, you need to compete in the open category against all the teenage girls and beautiful 20 year olds who haven’t had babies yet…hahah, very tough! We’ll see what I’m capable of when the time comes!

That sounds similar to bicycle racing categories. Although back when I was racing, the masters were really strong, fit and comptetive.
