I am now well into my third trimester with my third baby, and it’s going really well! I’ve passed all the tests (no gestational diabetes, no strep B, no blood pressure problems), my belly is growing right on track, and my energy levels are pretty good. I’m still super tired, but that’s the only complaint I have and it could very well be due to the fact that I don’t really start my day until my other two babies are asleep. I’m quite the night owl!
I’m still doing Pilates and yoga and of course I am active all day long with a toddler and an infant, but I am not regimental about it; if I go a few days without doing anything because I’m busy with motherhood or preparing for the new baby, it’s no sweat. That’s a big change for me, I’m usually pretty neurotic about always getting in my workouts and I’m actually pleased with it. Better to rest than to push at this point! Soon enough I will be postpartum and can start really training again, but for now I am liking this moderate and gentle attitude.
I have been having some pretty fabulous hair this pregnancy, and I am really (*really!!*) hoping it doesn’t all fall out like it did last time (you can see a picture of the terrible bang situation that occurred after baby #2 right here)! Even if it does, I won’t be chopping it off, I will just rock the thin balding look hahah.
Ok, on to the bumps!
Weight: I still haven’t weighed myself, and I’m quite curious to know where I’m at! For the other two pregnancies I gained between 20-25 lbs. I wonder if that’s where I am this time considering the bump looks to be just as big as the last two.
Cravings: Very few. I seriously have no appetite at all. We listened to an old Dane Cook stand up comedy routine and he mentioned watermelon Jolly Ranchers and I have NEEDED to eat one ever since…and then once I had one the craving was satisfied hahah. That’s about it for cravings, my husband hasn’t had to run out in the night to get me anything (…yet).
Bump: I think the bump is pretty comparable in size to the other two pregnancies, and it seems high to me like it did with Baby #1. Could this mean it’s another girl?! The whole carrying high v low is so silly though, even with Baby #2 which is visibly lower people were always telling me how high I was. So, I don’t put too much emphasis on that one!
That’s all to report for now. In case you missed it, I have the post up with our Winter Mountain Lake Maternity Photo Shoot and our Addams Family Nursery reveal. I hope to get to the hospital bag post before the baby comes, I better get on it, this baby will be here in no time!

Second Pregnancy Dress: John Zack for Asos. It’s not maternity, just stretchy, and I got it on eBay years ago to wear to my bridal shower. This one by Seraphine Maternity looks really similar.
Third Pregnancy Dress: Vintage Diane Von Furstenberg (you can find vintage ones on eBay)
Camera used in the 2nd and 3rd Pregnancy pics: Olympus O-MD E-M10 Mark II with 14-42mm IIR lens
Looks petty much “The same as it ever was. Same as it ever was. Same as it ever was.” Do you know David Byrne’s Talking Heads’ song “Once in a Lifetime”? You’re doing “Thrice in a Lifetime”. You look great.
